What we welcome

Pitch explanatory pieces, comparisons, production-planning ideas, theatre history and close looks at a particular craft decision. Topics should suit general readers and remain useful without relying on access to a specific company, venue or current production.

What makes a strong pitch

State the proposed title or subject, the central point, the intended reader and the main ideas you would cover. Mention relevant experience only where it directly helps explain your approach; do not send a full draft unless requested.

How to propose a piece
